A Holistic Approach to Care

With a commitment to providing the highest level of care, Nick adopts a holistic approach to treating orthopaedic disorders. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and anaesthetists, to ensure that each patient receives personalised care tailored to their unique needs. Surgery is only recommended when necessary, ensuring a conservative approach when appropriate.

He is the Clinical Network Director for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Barts Health and the Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics at The London Clinic. He has previously served as the Vice Chair of the British Orthopaedic Associations’ Orthopaedic Committee and spent a year as a National Medical Director’s Clinical Fellow.

Education & Research

Nick trained in medicine at University College London and completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious Percivall Pott Orthopaedic Training Programme in London. He went on to develop further expertise through a fellowship at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and a travelling fellowship in North America, gaining experience in advanced upper limb and trauma surgery. He is actively involved in research and education and is the Principal Investigator (PI) on several NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) funded studies across Barts Health. He has written several textbooks and many peer-reviewed publications and remains committed to improving patient care through ongoing research and innovation.
